2 Corpers Dies, Others beaten

The March 28 General election was promised to be a safe one for everyone and especially the National youth corp members who were fully adopted as the ad-hoc staff for INEC.

The reverse seems to be the case now, new reaching us stated that two corp members were killed in Benue state. About two corp members were beaten in Uyo, oron road on that same day.

Today also in Bauchi, soldiers fired bullet to drive those who gathered at the INEC premises protesting for the release of Saturday election. A man died as a result of a stray bullet, leaving over 2 wounded.
