Gender-transited Larvene cox Congratulates Ben Jenner for doing same

Bruce Jenner 's decision to speak out about his transition from male to female has been met with messages of support from fans, friends, family and other celebrities.

The former Olympian, who was interviewed by Diane Sawyer in a two-
hour episode of 20/20 on Friday, said
he hoped that by speaking out, he would help other transgender people. One person who knows about that journey is Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox , who last year became the first transgender person to be nominated for an Emmy .

And on Friday night she Tweeted a

she wrote. "It is always brave to stand
in one's truth. Congrats darling."
