Some  people call this dedication an initiation. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North, was recently baptized in a traditional Armenian ceremony during the family’s recent visit to Jerusalem.The ceremony took place in the 12th-century Saint James Cathedral. Khloe, was named North’s godmother. North is officially a member of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Jerusalem, the oldest national church in the world. Kim told PEOPLE magazine; “It was such a beautiful experience for my family to have North baptized in Jerusalem. Kanye and I are so thankful.”

Eight convicted drug traffickers on death row in Indonesia were executed by firing squad on Tuesday, April 28 on a prison island. The convicts - two from Australia, one from Brazil, four from Africa and one Indonesian — made the long journey from their prison to clearings on a prison island to meet their fate early Wednesday, Indonesian time. Witnesses say that as they walked to face the firing squad, the convicted drug traffickers defiantly sang praises to God, while in a town across the water a group of tearful supporters was also uniting in song. The convicts had reportedly refused to be blindfolded instead raised their voices in song, including a rendition of “ Amazing Grace ”, until the gunfire from the firing squads rang out. A NINE-year-old pupil of the Nigerian Turkish School, Abuja, Adeoluwa Adetoba, has emerged winner of the 2015 edition of the National Mathematics Competition. Adetoba beat 25,000 competitors nationwide to win the competition, organised by the Nigerian Turkish International Colleges, in collaboration with the National Mathematical Centre. The competition was organised for primary five and six pupils, to address the basic problems they face in mathematics. At the award ceremony in Abuja on Friday, an elated Adetoba said he was delighted to win, stressing that it would spur him to work harder. Adetoba got a full scholarship and a cash prize of N150, 000 donated by the Nigerian Turkish International Colleges. Managing Director of the Nigerian Turkish International Colleges, Mr. Mehmet Bashturk, said the competition cost N17 million, adding that the college would sustain the competition annually. The news of the deaths that occurred during the Nepal earthquake is just trickling in. Mashable confirmed the death of Daniel Fredinburg -a top Google exec, on its website. According to them, the exec who is the head of privacy for Google X-the company's division devoted to cutting-edge technologies and experimentation, was mountain climbing when the earthquake occurred. In a statement made available online, Google's Director of Privacy Lawrence You wr ote: "Sadly, we lost one of our own in this tragedy. +Dan Fredinburg a long-time member of the Privacy organization in Mountain View, was in Nepal with three other Googlers, hiking Mount Everest. He has passed away. The other three Googlers with him are safe and we are working to get them home quickly...
